Board Eligible/Board Certified Endocrinologist
to join an established
Endocrine and Diabetes team
in
Dekalb, Illinois . The selected candidate will provide dedicated support to an existing
Medical Group
while enjoying a
busy community-based outpatient practice
with consult-only hospital coverage.
What You Can Expect:Team Collaboration:
Work alongside three endocrinologists and one
Advanced Practice Provider (APP) .
On-Site Support:
Certified diabetic educators, clinical dieticians, and clinical pharmacists available on-site.
State-of-the-Art Clinic:
Newly renovated facilities for optimal patient care.
Specialized Programs:
Access to
ADA-recognized diabetes education program
with
RN and RD educators
at the
Diabetes Self-Management Clinic .
Extended Support:
Collaborate with on-site
endocrine surgery
and
oncologic subspecialists
from the
University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health .
Academic Opportunities:
Academic appointment and teaching opportunities available through the
University of Illinois College of Medicine .
Responsibilities:Diagnose, evaluate, and treat patients with
hormonal imbalances ,
thyroid conditions ,
osteoporosis ,
diabetes , and other
endocrine disorders .
Provide outpatient care with consult-only hospital coverage.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for
comprehensive patient care .
Offer patient counseling on the management of
endocrine disorders .
Participate in educational programs and professional development.
Requirements
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.)
or
Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
degree.
Completion of
Internal Medicine Residency
and
Endocrinology Fellowship .
Board Eligible
or
Board Certified
in
Endocrinology .
Illinois Medical License
(active or pending).
Strong work ethic and excellent communication skills.
