The Siemens Buildings internship program is a 10-12-week internship position and is designed to help you create a successful career path as a software leader within Siemens.
The Internship Program start dates for Summer 2025 are May 19th, June 2nd or June 9th.
What you will do as a Supply Chain Management Intern:
: Assist in the design, development, and optimization of manufacturing processes. Work on projects that improve efficiency, reduce waste, and enhance product quality. Participate in lean manufacturing initiatives, including process mapping, root cause analysis, and implementation of improvement strategies. Help drive our commitment to operational excellence.: Support the integration of digital technologies in our manufacturing processes. Work on projects involving data collection, analysis, and the implementation of Industry 4.0 solutions to enhance productivity and decision-making.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support ongoing projects.Conduct research and analysis to identify areas for improvement.Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements.Document findings and present recommendations to management.Participate in team meetings and contribute to project discussions.
Additional Qualifications/Responsibilities
Required Qualifications:
Current sophomore, junior or senior undergraduate student pursuing a bachelor's degree with at least one year remaining in their school program. Candidates must not be graduating prior to September 2025.Pursing a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as ability to work in teams.Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to articulate technical problems in clear and simple terms.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles is a plus.Work Authorization: Permanent work authorization in the U.S. is required.What we offer:

The hourly pay range for this position is $22- $28. The actual wage offered may be lower or higher depending on budget and candidate's experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and premium geographic location.
