To prospective teammates,I'm the medical director for Sound's hospital medicine practice at St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale, WA. I have been a part of Sound for nine years and welcome interest from physicians coming out of training or desiring a career change. I want to share more about it, specifically about our

We are a closely-knit, established team of 23 physicians and 2 nurse practitioners.Our team comprises clinicians from diverse geographic, educational, and training backgrounds who lean on and learn from each other in their approach to patient care.Our physicians and NPs are heavily involved in hospital committees, medical staff meetings, and training of family medicine residents.Our team members have diverse interests, including skiing, hiking, cricket, tennis, and painting, and we often meet after work.We proudly sponsor H1b visa candidates, and Sound has excellent in-house visa specialists and our licensing and credentialing experts. All required filing fees for the visa are paid, and services are covered by Sound.F or this nocturnist opening, we are focused on candidates available in 2024Practice
We work in a closed ICU setting with full intensivist support. Our team is not required to do procedures or run codes.We have lunch and learn every Wednesday and a monthly team meeting.Most of us like to spend time with our families or outdoors, so a flexible schedule is available, and we cover for each other when we're out.Expected yearly compensation is competitive at over $300k $350k for full-time.Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and AD&D insurance, long- and short-term disability, 401k with match, paid medical malpractice and tail coverage, and annual CME allowance.Purpose
