OVERVIEW OF THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT ROLE:

• Conduct monthly general ledger reviews and bank reconciliations, ensuring accurate records that support financial health and decision-making.
• Maintain detailed records of fixed assets, tracking depreciation and ensuring compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Assist with closing processes each month, preparing reports and verifying data to keep financials current and precise.
• Participate in preparing for year-end audits, gathering necessary documentation, and working with auditors to demonstrate commitment to transparency and accuracy.
• Compile and prepare a range of financial reports, providing insights that support data-driven decision-making across teams.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE STAFF ACCOUNTANT

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting.
• 3-5 years in accounting.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel with functions like filtering, PivotTables, and VLOOKUP); MAS500 experience is a plus.
• Strong verbal and written interpersonal skills.
