Overview of the Accounting Specialist role:
- Maintain the Accounts Receivable and remittance email inbox and follow-up on overdue balances.
- Reconcile and post daily payments and eCommerce payouts.
- Research any payment deduction discrepancies and create chargeback/deduction entries to resolve.
- Reconcile and report daily cash flow to management.
- Process and apply payments received, including credit card payments for trade customers.
- Assist in processing Accounts Payable transactions and various administrative tasks, as needed.
- Manage and provide certificates of insurance to trade customers.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Solid understanding of accounting processes - payables and receivables
- Associate's degree and/or equivalent experience
- Proficient with accounting ERP software and Microsoft Excel, including basic formulas
- Experience providing reports to management
