Job DescriptionThe Employee Experience & Talent Coordinator provides administrative support to the department.Essential Functions:Talent Management:

Provide administrative and functional support to the shipboard Human Resources team for Carnival's Department transfer policy. Ensure all department transfer request applications meet approved requirements, provide outcome letters and responses, and work with external departments to facilitate transfer requests. Responsible for being the first point of contact for shipboard and shoreside users throughout the internal movement process. Main responsibilities include tracking all applicants throughout the process, responding to daily inquiries sent to the shared mailbox, and liaising with partners to release and schedule approved applicants.Employee Experience:

Administer employee experience and recognition programs. Support initiatives and facilitate the deployment of such programs. Responsible for the shipboard I AM Team Member & Leader program and yearly ceremony. Ensure the shipboard yearly honorees and overall fleet honorees are selected, honored, and awarded using fair processes and metrics. Ensure all communication is transparent. Coordinate and support the service award program for shipboard team members, ordering and sending customized awards to tenured employees.Vendor and Supply Management:

Provide sourcing, procuring, coding of purchases, and vendor relationship/contract maintenance in partnership with Purchasing and Accounting teams. Order and deliver HR items. Manage ordering for special projects such as new ship builds and program supplies.Employee Engagement:

Support the development of tools, programs, and metrics that increase Employee Engagement. Support the annual Employee Engagement Survey administration & action planning process for 40,000 employees, including ship preparation, survey execution, planning, and report distribution. Ensure the results are communicated and action planning efforts are upheld fleet-wide throughout the year.Qualifications:Education: Associate’s degree or equivalent in Human Resources preferred.Years & or Area of Professional experience: 1-3 years of HR experience with an emphasis in employee experience and talent management or HR business partnership, specifically improving employee and organizational performance through the design and delivery of people programs. Preferably in the hospitality or cruise industry.Critical Professional related Technical Skills, Computer Skills: Strong Microsoft Office capabilities; attention to detail.Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:Highly organized, detail-oriented, able to multitask, proactive, able to work independently in a fast-paced environment, strive to build strong business relationships, possess professional verbal and written English skills.Decision-Making:Operational:

Decisions focus on day-to-day activities within the company. Decisions made at this level help to ensure that daily activities proceed smoothly and therefore help to move the company toward reaching a strategic goal. They have short-term consequences. Examples are handling employee conflicts and purchasing materials needed for operations.Standard:

These decisions are those that are repetitive decisions on a recurring basis and are commonly related to daily activities. They are relatively simple, relying on historical data and previous solutions.Physical Demands:

Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities.Travel:

Less than 25% with shipboard travel likely.Work Conditions:

Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.This position is classified as 'in-office.' As an in-office role, it requires employees to work from a designated Carnival office in South Florida from Tuesday through Thursday. Employees may work from home on Mondays and Fridays. Some positions may require additional in-office time each week and the final schedule is determined by your leader. Candidates must be located in (or willing to relocate to) the Miami/Ft. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 84 hours/year. All employees gain additional vacation time with further tenure.Sick Time – All full-time employees receive 80 hours of sick time each year. Part-time with benefits employees receive time off based on the number of hours they work, with a minimum of 60 hours each year.
