What You’ll DoThis MarTech Product Leader will lead the strategy, roadmap, implementation, and management of enterprise marketing technology products and platforms that deliver brand and acquisition marketing objectives for all LOBs.This leader will build strong partnerships with marketing, analytics, and engineering organizations to deliver AdTech/MarTech capabilities that support acquisition marketing across paid and owned channels.The Sr. Director of MarTech will lead teams of product managers and product owners within an agile delivery framework through strong leadership skills and influencing at all levels of the organization.The individual will translate strategy into actionable tactics to drive business outcomes, as well as ‘get in the weeds’ while also being able to think ‘big picture’. Define and own the strategy, roadmap, and development of Discover's AdTech/MarTech stack to modernize brand and acquisition marketing capabilities.How You’ll Do ItLead and execute complex, high visibility projects to enable enterprise level solutions to support media marketing and prospect marketing for all LOBs.Lead and grow a high performing team of product managers and product owners in an agile ways of working environment.Build strong relationships with cross-functional teams across marketing, analytics, engineering, and vendors to drive effective collaboration, influence, and alignment to marketing strategy.Develop product assessments, POV’s, business cases and align AdTech/MarTech investments to business goals and metrics.Drive successful change management and adoption of new AdTech/MarTech capabilities across the enterprise.Partner with vendors and in-house Technology groups to articulate and execute Discover's AdTech/MarTech strategy, and roadmaps as well as influence vendor roadmaps.Passion for learning and keeping up to date about AdTech/MarTech trends and interpreting its applications at Discover.Minimum Qualifications You’ll NeedThe BasicsBachelor’s degree in Business Administration & Management, Information Technology, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or related area of study.8+ years of product development, product management, product strategy, technology, business development, or related experience.Preferred QualificationsMaster’s degree in Business Administration & Management, Information Technology, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics, Analytics, or related area of study.10+ years of product development, product management, product strategy, technology, business development, or related experience.In lieu of Education Experience10+ years Product development, product management, product strategy, technology, business development or related experience.Physical and Cognitive RequirementsThe physical requirements described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable a qualified individual with disabilities to perform the essential functions of the position as required by federal, state, and local laws:Sitting in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time.Bonus Points If You HaveDeep subject matter expertise and demonstrated thought leadership with minimum 8+ years of experience in AdTech/MarTech product management and delivery.Strong background in agile and experience managing product managers and product owners within an agile environment.Multiple years of experience in successfully managing and delivering AdTech/MarTech capabilities.Multiple years of experience managing large-scale vendor relationships and contract negotiations.Strong people/project leadership and demonstrated ability to influence and partner closely with multiple teams to drive outcomes and change in a large matrixed organization.Comfortable working with senior leaders across the organization, making recommendations, and delivering executive updates.Exceptional business and financial acumen with the ability to build business cases and demonstrate value of technology investments in driving business outcomes.Excellent oral, written and presentation skills at all organizational levels, with the ability to frame complex technical concepts in a way that promotes deeper understanding among stakeholders.Discover will not sponsor or transfer employment work visas for this position. The base pay for this position generally ranges between $173,000.00 to $263,400.00. Additional incentives may be provided as part of a market competitive total compensation package. Factors, such as but not limited to, geographical location, relevant experience, education, and skill level may impact the pay for this position.Benefits:
