R+L Carriers is actively seeking an enthusiastic, highly motivated Sales Account Executive at our Boston, MA Service Center to sell our industry leading transportation services. This individual will focus on personal sales targets, new business development, maintaining customer relationships, and troubleshooting specific customer problems.
Responsibilities will include:
Educating our customers on all transportation services R+L Carriers offers
Gaining targeted market share in key lanes
Targeting key accounts in selected industries
Promoting market awareness and visibility
Preparing sales presentations, contracts, and proposals
Staying educated and understanding market trends and competitors within assigned territory
Promoting corporate image and culture

Requirements:
2+ years of LTL motor freight sales experience is strongly preferred.
Must be PC literate.
Knowledge of the local market.
Operations knowledge in an LTL environment preferred.
