Raytheon is seeking a talented System Security Engineering (SSE) candidate. This person will serve as a direct interface during important reviews, briefings, and technical exchange/demos. Communication and collaboration with the customer as well as with other engineering disciplines is required to ensure the program-level chief engineers and architectures support the program's needs. The individual will work with the program and customer in the development of the system, providing strategic input and planning for the system, applications, architecture, and design in a dynamic, agile development environment.What You Will Do:Implement SSE solutions into RTX productsInteract with customer to define SSE requirements, solutions, trades, costs, implementation, system impacts, and effectivenessSupport developing plans and estimates, task execution, project tracking, reporting, and risk identification and mitigation plansPlan and guide SSE implementations in customer systemsConsult and assist program line management with SSE architectures and issuesAttack threat modeling / Critical Program Information AssessmentsDevelop top-level system requirements and flow down requirements and implementation concepts to subsystemsUnderstand and comply with DoD technology release and export licensing policiesValidate secure configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, servers, operating systems, applications, and other assetsWork Location:

OnsiteQualifications You Must Have:Typically requires a Bachelor’s in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) and 5 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and 3 years of prior relevant experience. In absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.Experience in the fields of System Security Engineering, computer technology reverse engineering, AT, cybersecurity, or embedded securityExperience designing, implementing, testing, and fielding real-time embedded security-oriented solutions on Department of Defense (DoD) programsExperience generating security (AT and/or program protection) requirements, design and architecture artifacts, plans, and/or policiesActive and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
