Lake County, Indiana (Less than 1 hour from Chicago)
Overview:Healthcare United is seeking a dedicated
Pulmonary Critical Care
physician to join our expanding team and help meet the growing demand for pulmonary services near
Dyer, Indiana . This full-time position offers a blend of outpatient and inpatient care, with an emphasis on clinic-based practice. Join a supportive team committed to professional growth, patient-centered care, and a balanced work-life experience.
Position Highlights:Work Schedule :
32 patient contact hours with 4 administrative hours.
Call Schedule :
Weekday call: 3-4 times per month.
Weekend & holiday call: 1:3 with Nurse Practitioner support.
Possible outreach to nearby locations.
Patient Care :
Mix of outpatient and inpatient care.
Average inpatient volume varies.
Procedures Required :
Arterial line, chest tube, central line, intubation, thoracentesis.
Technology :
Utilize
EPIC
electronic medical records.
Facilities :
State-of-the-art settings with robust support staff.
Strong mentoring opportunities from seasoned physicians.
Requirements
Completion of
US Residency Program .
Fellowship training
in Pulmonary/Critical Care.
Board-Certified/Board-Eligible
in Pulmonary/Critical Care.
Active or pending
IN State License .
No malpractice history.
Strong work ethic and exceptional communication skills.
Team-oriented, patient care-focused professional.
