The coordinator plays an integral role in the Northwest Division’s Development Administration and Marketing and Communication efforts. This position will provide support and project management for the Directors of Development Administration and Marketing and Communications to ensure the departments’ success. Responsibilities include managing operations of all development administration and marketing initiatives, essential office procedures, and assisting the Directors in a professional manner. This person will plan and implement marketing efforts, donor stewardship activities, data maintenance, event support, and project management tasks. Collaboration with divisional staff, corps officers, program directors, donors, and vendors is essential for executing all activities accurately, timely, and within budget.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Manage development administration and marketing project tracking systems, communication schedules, and logistics.Steward development administration donors by providing membership services and managing annual donor efforts.Support Directors in identifying donor prospects and reaching out to potential supporters.Monitor relationships with marketing vendors to ensure quality service and timely fulfillment.Maintain analytics, strategy, and creative aspects for all initiatives while adhering to deadlines.Project manage conferences, presentations, and seminars, including logistics and on-site support.Manage budgets for development and marketing communications to ensure resources are used wisely.Prepare monthly activity reports based on completed gift reports.Review and post development administration gifts from Gift Management System to Portfolio System.Monitor advertising and print billing processes.Assist with donor relations and gift planning reporting.Create and optimize mass email communications/newsletters.Cross-train in duties of other development department personnel.Maintain inventory of development materials and fulfill requests.Support marketing and communications content activities.Create, edit, and proof-read materials for internal and external audiences.Manage media relations activities.Respond to inquiries from the Development contact email.Oversee direct marketing finances and reconcile with Finance.Drive to events and perform other work-related tasks as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Required
Bachelor’s degree or comparable experience, with a minimum of three years in an office role.Effective interpersonal, conversational, and presentation skills.Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively.Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.Demonstrates goal-orientation and maintains accurate records.Proven project and event management skills.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to meet deadlines and work with a broad audience.Familiarity with fundraising, marketing, communications, and community relations principles.Valid Washington driver license and clean driving record.Software-Related Skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.Working knowledge of content management systems.Ability to use integrated database applications.Physical Requirements
Ability to perform essential duties with or without accommodation.Working Conditions
