Amazon is looking for a Senior Program Manager to plan and execute transportation supply chain initiatives in the Americas, with a primary focus on the Canada market. This is a highly visible role with a focus on transportation network planning and continuous improvement. The role will lead cadence-driven execution of planning workflows and cross-functional initiatives for improving network performance, manage resources and risk, steer key decisions, and drive implementation. Stakeholders include senior leaders at Amazon, technology and non-technology partner teams, as well as external vendors and partners.
Key job responsibilities:Lead cross-functional workflows driving S&OP, and mid/long term plan. Analyze upstream business metrics used as inputs, and use sound forecasting approaches to produce a detailed plan for business execution in the Canada network.Capture insights from business execution into future plans and improve plan accuracy, flexibility, and resiliency.Develop functional requirements (tech and non-tech), localized for country-specific compliance.Build tools and processes to continuously improve plan KPIs.Liaise directly with senior leadership to provide insights from deep dives, build recommendations, and drive timely decisions.

About the team:The Transportation Network Planning Team is responsible for the creation of detailed plans to serve customer demand while achieving customer experience goals and the best possible cost to serve in the Canada market. In collaboration with partner networks, the team builds plans covering short (Running 12-Week) and long term (up to 5 Year) time horizons. The team is also responsible for continuous improvements in the tools and processes used to raise the bar on accuracy, flexibility, and resiliency.
Minimum qualifications:5+ years of program or project management experience.Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements.Experience owning program strategy, end-to-end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership.Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business, engineering, finance, or related technical or quantitative field.
Preferred qualifications:2+ years of driving process improvements experience.Master's degree, or MBA in business, operations, human resources, adult education, organizational development, instructional design, or related field.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $104,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
