You will define and deliver the next-generation of Echo devices in the home.This role is inherently cross-functional -- you will work closely with engineering, design, operations, finance and executive teams to bring features and products to market and develop and grow business opportunities for Amazon.com.A successful candidate will be a big thinker, empathetic leader, results oriented, and highly analytical. This candidate will be able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and experiences that customers love.Key Job Responsibilities:Set the vision and strategy for Amazon Echo. Define, build, and launch next-generation of Echo devicesProactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goalsCreate buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partnersDefine use cases, requirements, and prioritization for Echo device capabilities. Work with partner teams to deliver new and creative Alexa experiences through devicesLearn and be curious about technology roadmap that can shape the future of devicesDevelop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each productManage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, performance and operational support loadWork closely with engineering teams and program management to deliver products to marketDrive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team membersExperience working directly with Engineers on product enhancementsExperience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvementAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
