Principal Talent Advisor
within the Talent Acquisition (TA) team to recruit for all functional areas within Gilead Sciences and Kite in the US. Reporting to the Director, Talent Acquisition, the successful individual will serve as a TA partner to Gilead’s business hiring leaders. working closely with key business stakeholders to achieve their hiring objectives.Specific Job RequirementsThe role will require, but is not limited to, the following duties and responsibilities:Integral member of the US Talent Acquisition Team.Successfully manage a substantial volume of requisitions across multiple functional areas concurrently.Expert in delivering full life cycle recruitment across a broad range of functional areas and job families, from sourcing to hiring.Proven ability to thrive in a process-driven environment, utilizing a structured, efficient recruitment strategy. This approach ensures a cohesive experience for both candidates and hiring managers, guiding them seamlessly through every stage, from initial sourcing to final hiring decisions.Skilled in leveraging a diverse array of sourcing platforms, including LinkedIn Recruiter, CRMs, resume databases, professional networks, and associations to identify and engage high-quality talent—actively connecting with both passive and active candidates.Committed to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion at every stage of the recruitment process, fostering an inclusive environment while ensuring the organization attracts top talent from diverse backgrounds.Proactively source top candidates from underrepresented groups by utilizing partnerships with universities, affinity groups, professional associations, and diversity-focused job boards, building lasting relationships that sustain a diverse talent pipeline.Collaborate closely with Hiring Managers to align on job specifications and develop a well-rounded slate of candidates.Deliver transparent, timely feedback and communication to candidates, creating a positive, inclusive experience that aligns with Gilead’s Employer Value Proposition. Prioritize cultural sensitivity and accommodate individual needs, such as flexible interview scheduling and accessibility adjustments.Conduct regular check-ins with hiring managers to provide progress updates, present qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, facilitate debriefs, and manage the offer process.Accountable for meeting key performance indicators (KPIs) related to recruiting efficiency and quality, and adept in utilizing tech tools such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Yello, and Rooster to ensure speedy, efficient hiring that enhances candidate satisfaction while reducing time-to-fill.Basic RequirementsHS Diploma/GED with 12+ years OR an AA/AS degree with 10 + Years OR a BS/BA degree with 8 + years OR a MA/MS degree with 6+ years of experience recruiting in biopharmaceutical industry Healthcare/ Medical Device or Biopharmaceutical related industry.Experience successfully recruiting in cross functional matrixed corporate environment.Specific experience with leading project deliverables and teams with direct and indirect leadership accountabilities.Experience managing hi-touch in-house recruiting delivery within a large organization is highly desired.Experience managing complex searches at Senior Leadership levels and above within the business.Direct knowledge of HR functional disciplines, e.g., employee relations, full cycle recruiting, compensation / benefits, Immigration, relocation, applicant tracking, OFCCP (Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs), Reporting, Presentation, Sourcing, Market Analytics.Ability to quickly establish credibility with diverse audiences and deliver results.Robust collaboration and problem-solving mindset, and a history of successfully influencing partners whilst maintaining respectful and trusted relationships.Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.Strong project management skills.Able to exercise judgement and independently resolve and take appropriate action where precedent may not exist.Must be willing to work onsite at a Gilead Office 3 days a week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) unless the successful candidate is categorized as remote.As an equal opportunity employer, Gilead Sciences Inc. is committed to a diverse workforce. .The salary range for this position is: $154,020.00 - $199,320.00. Gilead considers a variety of factors when determining base compensation, including experience, qualifications, and geographic location. These considerations mean actual compensation will vary. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, discretionary stock-based long-term incentives (eligibility may vary based on role), paid time off, and a benefits package. Benefits include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and life insurance plans.
