Position: Principal Applied Scientist
The Artificial General Intelligence Data Service (AGI-DS) team is seeking a dedicated, skilled, and innovative Principal Applied Scientist with a robust background in deep learning, to build industry-leading technology with Large Language Models (LLMs) and multimodal systems.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate closely with talented colleagues to lead the development of advanced approaches and modeling techniques.Drive forward the frontier of LLM technology, including innovating model-in-the-loop and human-in-the-loop approaches.Ensure the collection of high-quality data, safeguarding data privacy and security for LLM training.Define key research directions and conduct rigorous experiments.Publish results and ensure that research is translated into practice.Participate in organizational planning, hiring, mentorship, and leadership development.Serve as a key scientific resource in full-cycle development (conception, design, implementation, testing to documentation, delivery, and maintenance).
Minimum Requirements
PhD with specialization in artificial intelligence, natural language processing, machine learning, or computational cognitive science.10+ years of combined academic and research experience.Strong publication record in top-tier journals and conferences.Functional thought leader, sought after for key tech decisions.Mentors and trains the scientist community on complex technical issues.Experience developing software in traditional programming languages (C++, Java, etc.).Excellent written and spoken communication skills.Strong software development skills.Experience working effectively with science, data processing, and software engineering teams.Proven track record of innovation in creating novel algorithms and advancing the state of the art.Entrepreneurial spirit combined with strong architectural and problem-solving skills.
