Identity Support Management (ISM) Coordinator
responsible for the oversight and management of the Special Operations Command Pacific (SOCPAC) ISM Program. This role encompasses the planning, coordination, deconfliction, and execution of all aspects related to ISM development and activities that safeguard sensitive information from adversaries. The ISMC will collaborate with USSOCOM Enterprise, USINDOPACOM, and other defense entities to ensure the ISM program is effectively integrated into SOCPAC’s operations.Duties and Responsibilities:Manage all elements of the SOCPAC ISM Program, ensuring comprehensive planning, development, and execution of ISM support plans and related activities.Ensure protection of sensitive information from adversaries through well-developed ISM concepts and support mechanisms.Serve as the focal point for ISM coordination with USSOCOM, USINDOPACOM J2X/J3X, USINDOPACOM Service Components, and Defense Intelligence Agency (DIA).Establish and maintain critical relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring SOCPAC ISM requirements and equities are represented.Conduct ISM assessments and concept development for information protection, devising mitigation strategies to reduce mission and force risks.Develop and submit plans, orders, memorandums, and other documentation to SOCPAC, USSOCOM, USINDOPACOM, and the Office of the Secretary of Defense.Establish and sustain the SOCPAC ISM Program in compliance with USSOCOM, USINDOPACOM, and Joint Staff regulations.Develop ISM policies and staff them for Chief of Staff and/or SOCPAC Commander approval.Establish and maintain battle rhythm events to review ISM plans, policies, strategies, and activities with stakeholders across SOCPAC, USSOCOM, USINDOPACOM, DIA, and interagency partners.Maintain access to USSOCOM-mandated systems of record for ISM and be knowledgeable about financial management systems associated with ISM.Attend conferences, work groups, seminars, and forums with USSOCOM and USINDOPACOM to share best practices, case studies, and provide recommendations for ISM improvement.Develop objectives, measures of performance and effectiveness for the SOCPAC ISM Program and conduct annual assessments of the program’s efficacy and future trajectory.Minimum Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience and Minimum of 3 years of experience in IT or related fieldMust possess or be able to obtain required certifications and training for ISM program management.Must have an active Top-Secret security clearance and be SCI eligible. Note: US Citizenship is required to obtain a Top-Secret ClearancePreferred Qualifications:Demonstrated experience in Identity Support Management, risk mitigation, and coordination with senior military and defense stakeholders.Strong knowledge of ISM-related financial management systems, excellent communication and coordination skills, and ability to represent SOCPAC ISM equities effectively.The salary range for this position is $115K to $135K (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
