This position will play an integral part in keeping the Decatur facility and outside warehouse supplied with finished goods. The position will be responsible for ordering and scheduling inbound finished goods products to allow on-time shipment of product. Coordinate the flow of finished goods through the warehouse by effectively using various reports and systems. Ensure finished goods inventories are correct and product is available to cover outbound orders. This position will also manage outside warehouse inventory, manage claims of non-conformances, research, locate statistical data, manage reports, and communicate various issues with various business groups.Responsibilities:Follow all safety, environmental rules and regulations applicable to the position.Adhere to and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and HACCP requirements.Monitor and ensure compliance with all safety, food safety, environmental, GMP rules, regulations and policies.Communication between shipping and sales. Locate product for shipping.Direct Warehouse operations.Maintain/research supply, demand and pricing for finished goods products.Coordinate/manage all claims at outside warehouses.Receive inbound finished goods products.Attend daily production/quality meetings.Cross-train with Operations and provide backup for Productions Schedulers-Food Service and Retail.Reconcile all finished good variances on stock transfers or IDTS.Order and maintain inventory of all Retail products, Food Service items at outside warehouses to ensure product available to cover shipments.Order and maintain inventory of all finished goods product that is not produced by Decatur facility, ensuring product available to cover shipments.Manage all outside warehouse functions at various facilities.Setup product definitions for new inbound finished goods items.Complete all associated paperwork/reports correctly to perform this position.Monitor and analyze shelf life of products. Ensure shelf life is correct in system and communicate with quality and sales if there are issues.Monitor and analyze and assign hold inventory. Communicate with quality and sales on the distress sale of products.Qualifications

Education:

Minimum of High School diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree is preferred in logistics, operations, or business; or relevant experience.Related Experience:

Experience in warehouse inventory management within a manufacturing environment is preferred and 5 years in Operations.Equipment/Software Skills:

Proficient use of Word/Excel and Outlook. Work knowledge of inventory software and programs.Problem Solving – Identifies and resolves problems in a timely manner; gathers and analyzes information skillfully; develops alternative solutions.Oral Communication – Speaks clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations; responds well to questions; demonstrates group presentation skills.Analytical Skills – Collect and research data; use intuition and experience to complement data, work flows and procedures.Written Communication – Writes clearly and informatively; presents numerical data effectively; able to read and interpret written information.Multi-task – Must have good multi-task skills and deal with fast-paced, high-stress environment.Additional Information

Physical:

Sitting/Walking/Climbing as required in a manufacturing environment. Must be able to lift and transport materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds on an occasional basis. Prolonged standing and frequent bending, stooping, walking, and reaching on a daily basis. Move throughout a warehouse and production facility, including climbing stairs in all buildings. Work is performed indoors and outdoors year-round, occasionally in environments that are dusty, noisy, or which could have work hazards. Requires exposure to chemicals, solvents, and cleaners common to mechanical work that may be hazardous and/or cause injury if specific instructions regarding their mixture, use, and disposal/storage are not properly followed.Sensory:
