Our team embraces an array of cultures and lifestyles which increases our ability to bring adaptable and flexible thinking to the work that we do.Responsibilities:The Maintenance and Services Category Manager will drive sourcing of Maintenance and Services categories and will be instrumental in category strategy ideation and delivery encompassing data analysis, market profiling, sourcing execution, supplier selection, negotiations, and relationship management, along with managing Maintenance and Services initiatives from a Procurement perspective.It would be desirable for candidates to have a blend of Maintenance and Services Category Management coupled with Consulting skillsets to operate most effectively in this position and in the broader Infosys Portland ecosystem.The ability to foresee problems, mitigate risks, and navigate changing environments is what enables our team to rise to any challenge with ease and confidence.Our clients entrust us to lead their supply chain and procurement functions into the future, and we are committed to ensuring our team is able to deliver upon this reputation through the development and sharing of new IP within the organization.Qualifications Basic:Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.At least 4 years of relevant work experience in the job description.Preferred:Experience in managing Maintenance and Services spending globally, particularly in Europe, North America, South America, and China.Prior corporate experience, ideally within professional services and exposure to supply chain, procurement, operations, or strategy, consulting experience preferred.Experience in sourcing strategy ideation, sourcing wave planning, sourcing execution, market research, supplier qualification, negotiations, and contract closure.Experience in Maintenance and Services environment.Minimum of 4 years in CPG environment.Consulting experience.Maintenance and Services spend management experience of an annual spend of at least $500M.Exposure to E-procurement Tools such as SAP, Coupa, Zycus, etc.Organized and proactive with day-to-day tasks and goal-oriented.Advanced proficiency in MS Excel analysis and communication in MS Word and MS PowerPoint.Location:While our clients are located all over North America, our team enjoys brainstorming professional ideas, sharing foodie recommendations, and participating in group outings in the architectural capital, Chicago Illinois, where our US office is headquartered.Note: Applicants for employment in the U.S. must possess work authorization which does not require sponsorship by the employer for a visa (H1B or otherwise).The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods.
