About the TeamYou will help manage and create seasonal merchandise databases for Pottery Barn Teen eCommerce products. As the Merchandising Analyst, you will provide support to Website Merchandising teams.

Overview of the Merchandise Analyst roleYou will help manage and create seasonal merchandise databases for both Pottery Barn Teen eCommerce products. You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating processes and flow of information internally and externally.

ResponsibilitiesCompile and input data to maintain seasonal product information databases eCommerce and Dorm Wishlist.Work closely with the creative team to assist in the creation and maintenance of creative product databases.Work closely with the Website merchandising team to ensure correct site layout and ensure site data integrity and correct product set-up.Create and maintain change forms to ensure database consistency working closely with the Creative team.Interface with site managers, project management, and e-technology team for timely database uploads, site deployments, and reporting of issues.Manage database uploads to merchant preview, dev, and QA testing environments.Review creative content for product data integrity.Coordinate and participate in weekly site testing to ensure correct data integrity.Coordinate the archiving of Website seasonal features, functionality, and products.Other projects as assigned.

CriteriaBA/BS required.Previous eCommerce, retail, or catalog experience (1-2 years).Strong computer skills, including advanced Excel skills and word processing applications; must have an interest in the linkage from systems to the Web; Access database a plus.Well-organized, detail-oriented.Able to make timely decisions, anticipate problems, and provide creative solutions.Retail experience and basic business knowledge.Action-oriented and full of energy for challenges.Able to deal with ambiguity and a changing environment.Meticulous approach to managing and organizing information.Strong verbal and written communication skills for reporting findings and collaborating with stakeholders.Ability to present data and insights to non-technical audiences.Experience working in cross-functional teams and coordinating with merchandise planners, buyers, and sales teams.Ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.Strong organizational skills to meet deadlines and manage priorities.Understanding of digital marketing, e-commerce platforms, or supply chain logistics.Ability to perform work onsite in the San Francisco corporate office.Operate a computer and communicate via telephone.

The expected starting pay range for this position is $26.00 - $30.00 an hour. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. In addition to competitive pay, compensation may include a variety of other components like benefits, paid time off, merit, and bonus opportunities.
