Staff Content Architect
to join our Content Systems team. In this role, you’ll create and implement structured content and metadata strategies across the company, with a focus on semantic tools like taxonomy, ontology, and knowledge graphs for content management and generative AI systems.Responsibilities
You will be a mentor, advocate, and partner in reimagining the contribution of content to products and to our business processes:Subject matter expertise:
Advocate for the integration of ontology, taxonomy, metadata, and knowledge graphs across various departments within the companyEducation:
Educate and influence the design and technical communities on the significance and implementation of structured content and metadataStrategy creation:
Develop and execute strategies for structured content that align with Generative AI applications and other relevant technologiesBuild new partnerships:
Collaborate effectively with technical stakeholders and various teams across the company to foster partnerships and drive innovationContent systems:
Identify and manage scalable solutions for content and metadata strategy. Develop and educate others on best information practices and standards in service to content management scalability and generative applicationsIndustry trends:
Maintain an acute awareness of industry trends, information standards, and internal projects. Use this knowledge to identify opportunities for innovation and influence GenAI content strategies and user experiencesMinimum Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Library Science, Linguistics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experienceProven track record in metadata strategy, content management systems, taxonomy, ontology, and knowledge graphsStrong understanding of generative AI technologies, prompting, and their applications in content creation and managementKnowledge of ontology standards such as Schema.org, SKOS, ISO, BFO, and linked dataPreferred experience with tools such as PoolParty, Neo4j or other graph database software, Phrase string management, FigmaDemonstrated leadership in managing cross-functional projects and initiativesExceptional communication, collaboration, and leadership skillsStrategic and analytical systems thinker with the ability to solve complex problemsFamiliarity with machine learning, NLP, and related technologiesPrevious experience in a technology-forward, fast-paced environment is preferred
