You will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our production test solutions. This is a hands-on engineering position responsible for the design and implementation of high-performance hardware and software to test innovative mixed-signal products including audio codecs, haptics/sensing ICs, and audio power amplifiers for automotive applications.Responsibilities
Contribute to the creation and deployment of next-generation production test solutionsDesign sophisticated mixed-signal ATE board schematics, oversee all aspects of PCB layouts, and lead test hardware debug and release-to-mass-productionCollaborate regularly with IC design engineers, validation engineers, and various other teamsJoin in cross-functional team meetings to resolve complex device debug and production issuesTest program software development from pre-silicon through production releaseInterpret datasheet specs and trim requirements to create appropriate ATE hardwareParticipate in yield improvement activities and cost reduction projectsProvide customer return supportDocument test procedures and methodologiesRequired Skills and Qualifications
BS in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of semiconductor test engineering experienceCapability to create, debug, edit, release and own all aspects of an ATE test programCapability to design, debug, and deploy complex mixed-signal test hardwarePrevious experience as lead PTE on an automotive product from inception through production releaseUnderstanding of tri-temperature testing and the temperature insertion elimination processesExtensive understanding of IP characterization and resulting data analysisBroad expertise of various circuit blocks and topologies, such as ADCs, DACs, PLLs, amplifiers, charge pumps, and common digital communication protocols such as I2C, SPI, SPMI, I2S, and TDMStrong problem-solving and debug skillsAbility to work to, and deliver upon, tight time schedulesSolid communication skills and adeptness working in a multi-functional engineering teamData and yield analysis skills using tools such as Spotfire, JMP, Syntricity, ExcelPreferred Skills and Qualifications
Teradyne UltraFlex or UltraFlexPLUS proficiency using VBT custom codeExpertise of Python scripting languageExperience using and testing OTP, flash, and other forms of non-volatile memoriesFamiliarity with the AEC-Q100 qualification and ISO-26262 safety specs, and the application thereofDiversity drives innovation at Cirrus Logic.
