The Digital Solutions National Portfolio Lead understands and capitalizes on client needs for technology planning, data management, automation, analytics, data science, and emerging applications for digital solutions and builds teams to serve them.

Detailed Description:Strategy and Business PlanningDevelop and drive national digital solutions sales strategy in partnership with regional growth leaders. Sustain and grow our business with an emphasis on the expansion of digital solutions and services.Inform development of the growth strategy and annual plan by defining digital solutions potential and identifying client's digital needs, priorities, and pursuit opportunities.Engage business unit client service managers, growth leaders, Digital Solutions leadership team, and delivery teams to create and maintain alignment around the Digital Solutions business strategy.Build BC's capacity/capability to position and win digital solutions pursuits. To ensure quality delivery in alignment with BU and Tech Services strategy by informing needs, recruiting, and developing staff.
Business Development and Sales EnablementGrow and maintain Digital Solutions project portfolio and funnel. Develop balanced emphasis between short-term sales and long-term growth. Grow BC's digital client base.Inform and provide awareness to clients, client service managers, growth leaders, technical and design practice leads about BC's digital capabilities (including solutions and services), their benefits to our clients, and discover and develop new business opportunities to sell and/or upsell. Organize and facilitate workshops for communication with clients and client service managers.Act as a tech seller, supporting clients and client service managers with BC's digital solutions and services catalog, marketing, and technical materials to enable sales.Equip client service managers with digital solutions training, guidance, and support.
Digital Solutions DeliveryInform go/no-go's on and technical approach on client pursuits based on evolving delivery capabilities.Understand client's and needs to inform understanding of business requirements. Partner with the Digital Solutions technical team to translate business requirements into technical requirements and specifications.
BC Brand and Industry LeadershipDrive external visibility and brand projection.Develop and maintain relationships with BC's top digital clients.Inform national technical and design practice leaders about market trends in digital transformation.
Desired Skills and Experience:B.S. or M.S. in engineering, geology, hydrogeology, or a related field is required.Professional registration is preferred.Minimum of 10 years of increasingly responsible professional experience in the environmental services or water utility and/or consulting industry is required.Proven record in business development and sales support of digital solutions and services.Ability to demonstrate business acumen to guide decisions on assignment of personal and technical approaches to support business unit growth.Proven understanding of environmental and regulatory drivers for clients and projects.Outstanding communication skills with the ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and professionally (verbal and written) for technical and non-technical audiences.Proven technical skills with the ability to articulate ideas and concepts both visually and contextually are required.Proficiency with Microsoft Suite including Word, Outlook, Project, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.Valid driver's license and good driving record.Travel up to 20%.
Salary Range:
The anticipated starting pay range for this position is based on the employee's primary work location and may be more or less depending upon skills, experience, and education. These ranges may be modified in the future.
Location A: $145,000 - $199,000
Location B: $160,000 - $219,000
Location C: $174,000 - $238,000
