Spencer Gregory HaleSr. Supplier Quality Assurance ManagerAbout the role:The Senior Manager leads a team of highly motivated supplier quality engineers to assess and onboard suppliers added through company acquisitions, ensuring compliance with Boston Scientific quality system requirements. Leads a team to improve and maintain suppliers’ quality systems and engages proactively with suppliers to reduce risk and drive continuous improvement. Collaborates closely with Global Sourcing integration team partners to develop integration strategies and determine resources required to meet integration plans. Generates and champions new ideas, approaches, and initiatives. Operates with a global perspective across BSC sites, business units, and functions. Ensuring employees receive ongoing feedback, mentoring, training, and development opportunities.Driving results by assigning clear authority and accountability, integrating and aligning efforts across value streams and functions, monitoring progress against objectives.Responding resourcefully, flexibly, and positively when faced with new challenges, transitions, and demands.Aligning the vision, mission, and values in decision-making and actions.Coaching sound, systematic problem-solving methodologies in identifying, prioritizing, communicating, and resolving quality issues.Identifying and/or leading cross-department, cross-business unit, and/or cross-site projects while achieving strategic milestones.Demonstrating proficient cross-company communication, cultural sensitivity, and partnership in interactions with others.Monitoring, evaluating, and summarizing project progress and results.Influencing Sr. Management on potential improvements or enhancements to quality systems and processes for BSC and our suppliers.Contributing to the development and oversight of organization budgets through regular cost analysis and spending.What we’re looking for in you:Minimum requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Science, Engineering, or related technical discipline.Minimum of 7 years of related and progressive work experience within the medical device industry.Minimum of 5 years demonstrated success leading and developing high-performing teams.Ability to travel up to 10%.Preferred qualifications:MBA or Master of Science degree.Project management experience.Leadership, influencing, and negotiation skills.Strong presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.Solid computer skills: Minitab; MS Excel, Word, Project, and PowerPoint.Strong understanding of materials and processes.Strong working knowledge of US and International regulations and standards applicable to BSC including 21CFR820, ISO 13485:2016.Technical experience within the areas of Material Controls and Quality Management Systems.Experience working with functions such as Quality Systems, Operations, Manufacturing Engineering, Sourcing, Regulatory, Research and Development, and Design Assurance.ASQ Certified CMQ/OE, CQE, CQA a plus.Requisition ID:
