Job Summary
Using Strategic Sourcing methodologies, the role will manage the procurement of plant services - i.e. environmental services, piping, insulations, fire protection, scaffolding, and other plant related services - for the company, within the set purchasing policies and guidelines, to ensure best landed value, and uninterrupted & timely supply in line with the objectives of the business stakeholders.
Job Responsibilities
Collect and analyze data for plant services category.Conduct sourcing events in S2P system (Coupa).Supplier relationship management.Contract development and negotiation.Function as chemicals subject matter expert which includes collaboration with key stakeholders to identify emerging cost and supply risks.
Job Requirements
A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Purchasing, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field with minimum of 10 years related experience in strategically sourcing and procuring plant/industrial related services.Expertise in procurement / sourcing tools and process (SAP, Ariba, Coupa, etc.).Strong Excel and data analytics skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Coupa S2P.Strong understanding of commercial contract negotiation and terminology.
Additional Benefit - Hybrid with On-Site in Houston, TX: Three times a week with Manager approval.
