The Strategic Relationship Manager role focuses on leading client experience by driving, developing, and broadening RIA Enterprise relationships covered by the Wealth Strategic Accounts Team. The SRM is responsible for business development, relationship management, and overall commercial strategy at the RIA Enterprise platforms. This position plays a critical role in representing all TCW product offerings, collaboration with key external & internal stakeholders, and developing a key understanding of clients' business models to partner and build new product offerings that fill platform gaps.Essential Duties
Relationship Management:
Support existing and foster new partnerships with RIA enterprise platforms within the North America Wealth Distribution business.Product Positioning:
Responsible for driving commercial outcomes via the home office relationships to TCW investment solutions.Feedback Loop:
Gather feedback on products, market trends, and services, and communicate findings internally to shape product development and strategy.Collaboration:
Work closely with internal teams, including product management, marketing, and client services, to ensure alignment in strategies targeting the segment.Reporting:
Heavy utilization of firm CRM (Salesforce) along with other management reporting needs.Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.12+ years of experience in sales or business development within the asset management industry, with a focus on this channel.Experience within the RIA space preferred.Demonstrated track record of achieving sales targets and growing business within this segment.In-depth understanding of the investment landscape, products, and the specific needs of advisors.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.Strong presentation skills, both in-person and virtual.Professional Skills Qualifications
Client-focused with a strong drive to achieve results.Collaborative team player with the ability to work independently.Strategic thinker with an analytical mindset.Relationship-builder with a high degree of professionalism and integrity.Desired Qualifications
Advanced degree (e.g. MBA) or relevant certification (e.g. CFA) is a plus.Estimated Compensation:Base Salary:
For NY/CA/MA based position, the base salary range is $200k to $250k. This is an anticipated range only.Other Compensation:
Eligible to be considered for an annual discretionary bonus.Benefits:
