UIC has over 300,000 alumni and is one of the largest employers in the city of Chicago.Description:Position SummaryThis position will identify, initiate, and maintain relationships with manufacturers within a specified territory in Illinois, assess their challenges and opportunities, and sell IMEC's continuous improvement consulting and training solutions.Duties & ResponsibilitiesAnalyze customer needs and identify potential IMEC resources.Lead sales calls and deliver sales presentations to build the sales pipeline; network to generate sales leads.Lead the coordination of sales efforts with IMEC's technical experts; prepare proposals, and provide direct consultation to manufacturers within their own area of expertise.Manage project engagements and develop and manage subcontractors.Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.Qualifications:Minimum QualificationsBachelor's Degree with emphasis in manufacturing, engineering, technology, consulting, and/or business management required. A minimum of three years manufacturing experience in a leadership position. Proven ability to lead companies down a path of continuous improvement, with the demonstrated capacity to diagnose company needs and effectively communicate value to all levels of the company, from production personnel to top management.Preferred QualificationsMaster's Degree preferred.
