To learn more about the Sundyne family of precision-engineered pumps and compressors, please visit www.sundyne.com.Job Duties & ResponsibilitiesCreate new NC programs using Siemens NX CAM softwareEdit/modify existing NC programsCreate simple 3D solid Process Models using NX CADDesign work holding/fixturing, as needed, with assistance from Manufacturing EngineeringIdentify and apply appropriate tooling based on material types, equipment considerations, cutting conditions, etc.Maintain tooling database.Skills & AbilitiesDemonstrated knowledge of CNC programming.Ability to program both mills and lathes.Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of machine code (G & M code)Ability to read and interpret CAD drawings requiredDemonstrated knowledge of GD&TAbility to learn and apply CAD/CAM software for programming.Strong communication and organizational skillsAbility to communicate with machinists to resolve program issuesSuperior time management skillsQualificationsMinimum 3 + years of programming experience in a metal cutting/machining environmentMinimum 1 year of experience with CAD/CAM softwareSiemens NX preferred but not requiredAssociate's or Bachelor's degree in science, engineering, or other technical discipline preferred; suitable experience will be considered in lieu of educational preferencesPhysical RequirementsThis position is an office/factory hybrid role.Ability to lift 35 pounds unassisted.Indoor office & factory environment.
