We are seeking a skilled and motivated IT Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and supporting a wide range of IT systems and providing critical support to staff globally. If you are experienced in IT procurement, provisioning, support, and scripting, and are familiar with a range of IT platforms, we would love to hear from you.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Azure Administration:
Manage and maintain the Azure environment, including virtual machines, storage, networking, and security.
Deploy and manage resources in Azure, ensuring optimal performance and cost efficiency.
Support cloud-based and hybrid infrastructure solutions, including Azure Active Directory.
Identity Management (Okta & Duo):
Implement and manage Okta for Single Sign-On (SSO) and Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Configure user provisioning workflows, ensuring secure and automated identity management.
Administer and support Duo for two-factor authentication (2FA), providing end-user support for setup and troubleshooting.
Manage user access controls and troubleshoot authentication issues.
Procurement & Provisioning:
Manage the procurement of laptops and other hardware globally.
Oversee the provisioning of MacOS laptops using tools like Mosyle MDM, ensuring proper device configuration and security.
Maintain IT asset inventory, ensuring systems are patched and up-to-date.
IT Support:
Provide hands-on support for end-user devices, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting for MacOS and Windows.
Diagnose and resolve technical issues across infrastructure (e.g., network connectivity, VPNs, printers, cloud applications).
Respond to support tickets in a timely manner and escalate complex issues as needed.
System & Network Management:
Manage systems like M365, Okta, Azure Virtual Machines, and Azure Active Directory.
Administer the Cloudflare Warp client for secure internet browsing and remote network access.
Oversee office network infrastructure, including managing routers and ensuring network reliability and security.
Audio/Visual Equipment Management:
Ensure that office audio and visual equipment is functional, managing meeting room setups for presentations and video conferences.
Security Management:
Collaborate with the security team to enforce policies and improve overall security posture.
Handle security incidents related to both office and staff devices, ensuring effective incident response.
Manage security tools such as DUO and Datadog for monitoring the health and security of systems.
Collaboration & Projects:
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including cybersecurity, development, and HR, to ensure seamless integration and support for systems.
Participate in system upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvements to align with security and compliance policies.
Scripting & Automation:
Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python, Bash, and PowerShell to streamline IT processes, such as device provisioning and user account management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience managing Azure environments, including Azure Active Directory.
Hands-on experience with Okta Identity Management and Duo Security.
Proficient in desktop support for both MacOS and Windows operating systems.
Familiarity with networking principles (DNS, DHCP, VPN, etc.).
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Preferred Skills:
Experience with automation tools for user provisioning and deprovisioning.
Familiarity with other cloud environments such as AWS.
Scripting experience in Python, Bash, and PowerShell.
Familiarity with IT management systems like Bamboo HR, M365, SharePoint, Jira, Confluence, Cloudflare, and Mosyle MDM.
Nice to Have:
Experience or interest in AI/ML tools and technologies.
Exposure to AWS services such as EC2, S3, and general support.
Experience with asset management and licensing systems, including Adobe and Microtik routers.
