In the role of Project Architect, we'll count on you to:Lead a multidiscipline team and perform layout and detailing on architectural projectsIndependently coordinate work of a multidiscipline team through multiple phases of a projectEstablish owner/client and internal meetings, and participate in reviews with various governing agencies for code complianceConduct work sessions at project site in conjunction with Project Manager and other disciplinesCoordinate workload of team members through multiple phases to complete documents on scheduleReview architectural documents for areas of conflict with all disciplinesPerform QA/QC and technical reviewsWrite and edit architectural specificationsCoordinate with and assist affected disciplines with addenda, RFIs, CPRs and change ordersIncorporate agreed-upon changes into project documentsLead projects in a dual management role as neededProvide construction contract administration as neededPerform other duties as neededRequired Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in ArchitectureA minimum of 5 years' experienceRegistered ArchitectProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel)Proficiency with Revit (Grasshopper/Dynamo experience a plus)Proficiency in Newforma, Bluebeam a plusExcellent written and communication skillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated graphic presentation skillsMust have experience in preparation and layout of architectural contract documents and specificationsStrong knowledge of codes and good planning skillsAn attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustPreferred Qualifications

Master's degree in ArchitectureExperience and/or interest in sustainable design and LEED criteria desired but not requiredStrong knowledge of healthcare strongly preferredKnowledge of construction management software a plusPreference given to local candidatesWhy HDR
