is seeking a
Sr. Project Architect
in either our
Springfield or Belleville, IL
or
St. Louis, MO
office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to market and manage multi-disciplinary teams for a wide range of projects including K-12 and higher education projects, national industrial & distribution projects, healthcare projects, recreation & community centers, and high demand advanced technology projects such as semi-conductor facilities. You will also assist in growing and supervising a dynamic architectural staff, while also working alongside and obtaining support from our strong national architectural team.Job Activities:
Create, manage, and produce projects for a wide range of market sectors.Provide the primary designer and leadership roles to our multi-disciplinary teams on projects throughout all stages, from concept to delivery.Assist in building a skilled architectural staff.Demonstrate business development skills by building and maintaining productive relationships with an expanding client.Create long-term relationships and delivering long-term value to clients.Develop and drive marketing plans, budgets, and key performance indicators.Develop, review, and approve proposals, reports, and contract documents.Specific Requirements include:
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, required; Masters, preferred.Registered Architect (NCARB preferred, but not required).Exceptional interpersonal communication skills.Excellent organization, coordination, leadership, team-building and managerial skills.Significant experience in one or more of Farnsworth Group's key strategic market segments: Municipal, Higher Education, K-12 Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Advanced Technology, and/or Industrial.10+ years of professional experience.Proficiency in Revit required.Experience with SketchUp, Photoshop, and Microsoft Office, preferred.LEED Certification preferred.About Farnsworth Group
