IT - 115Position SummaryUnder the Direction of the Director of Global Infrastructure Operations, this position will be responsible for managing and maintaining Azure cloud-based environments, database, network and storage infrastructure for our new Azure and AWS cloud platforms. This role will ensure continuous service and uptime for Plug, recommending and maintaining standard cloud structures and environments, procedures, templates, and backup jobs for all critical environments. The role will also maintain artifacts and report environment standards/practices for all SOX and internal audit requirements.Core Duties and ResponsibilitiesManage Azure Identities and Governance
Manage Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) objects including users, groups, administrative units, and device settings.Manage role-based access control (RBAC) and subscriptions.
Implement and Manage Storage
Secure and manage storage accounts, including Azure Files and Azure Blob Storage.
Deploy and Manage Azure Compute Resources
Automate deployment of virtual machines (VMs) and configure Azure App Services.
Configure and Manage Virtual Networking
Implement and manage virtual networks, security rules, and load balancing.
Communicate with outside vendors in support of various system platforms. Document processes and assist in determining IT needs for operational support. Recommend, plan, develop, and implement server configuration changes or upgrades.Education and ExperienceCertifications and/or extensive experience in Azure or cloud platforms, Linux, and Windows Environments.A minimum of 10 years' IT professional experience required, with at least 5 years dedicated to Cloud Infrastructure Builds and Administration.Strong critical thinking/problem solving and project management skills.Advanced knowledge of Microsoft-based solutions including Active Directory and O365.Ability to support Microsoft Server products and extensive experience with the Microsoft Server operating system (2012 R2 and newer).Ability to create network configuration diagrams using Visio.Ability/willingness to travel up to 10%.Pay Rate:
