We are currently seeking a Licensed Nurse Assistant (LNA) to join our Birthing Center team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about maternal and newborn care, possess excellent communication skills, and have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient-centered care.
This is a Part-Time position (FT available).

Responsibilities
* Assist registered nurses and midwives in providing care to expectant mothers before, during, and after childbirth. * Support laboring mothers with comfort measures and positioning techniques. * Monitor maternal vital signs and fetal heart rate under the direction of healthcare providers. * Assist with newborn care, including bathing, feeding, and monitoring vital signs. * Maintain a clean and safe environment in the birthing center.Provide emotional support and education to mothers and families on newborn care, breastfeeding, and postpartum recovery. * This job also includes a clerical component which includes but not limited to: * Answering phones * Ordering and properly storing general supplies * Scheduling outpatient procedures * Creating patient information packets
Qualifications
* High School diploma--Required * Six months to one year clinical experience in hospital or nursing home setting--Desired * Current Vermont License, CPR training, Car Seat Technician Certification, Certified Lactation Consultant--Desired * CPR skill validation, Ability to monitor various types of equipment ranging from but not limited to non invasive blood pressure monitors, and other equipment involved in care of the patient, demonstrates Standard Precautions and Transmission-Based Precautions, Collects accurate patient data and documents
