This position will study AMA's current computer systems and procedures and design ways to improve efficiency. Specifically, the Sr. Digital Analyst will help drive the deployment, implementation and maintenance of numerous analytics tools as well as recommend improvements to online measurement capabilities across all digital and social channels. Responsible for managing various projects, processes, tools, and internal customer relationships. Build analysis and create concise reports/dashboards leveraging multiple organizational data sets of digital behaviors to help guide the development of the AMA's digital analytics strategy. Supports the development of AMA's online (web and social) analytics strategy. Build new or optimize existing data collection, processing and storage processes in order to leverage for analysis and reporting purposes. Oversees metrics gathering and reporting process. Ensures rigorous quality control over data, analyses and metrics, and organizational clarity and alignment for key business metrics. Work with various teams to ensure accurate tagging for new site releases as well as continuously debugging, optimizing, and enhancing existing implementation to support business requirements. Educate and train internal users on how to use analytics tools, understand data and reports, and digital tracking capabilities through documentation and presentation to aid in more effective data capture and interpretation. Monitor digital landscape and changes in the environment to provide recommendations and relevant and timely updates to Digital Analytics Department as well as individuals throughout publishing that are affected. 100% Telecommuting.Job Requirements:
Bachelor's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management or related field, plus 5 years of professional experience as a digital analyst or any occupation including predictive modeling, market research industry, or related occupation. In the alternative, Employer will accept a Master's degree, or foreign equivalent, in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Management or related field plus 3 years of professional experience as a digital analyst or any occupation including predictive modeling, market research industry, or related occupation. Additionally, the applicant must have professional experience with:Digital analytics tools including Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics, to monitor and analyze all site activity and digital marketing campaign performance;Data visualization tools including Tableau or Microsoft Power BI to build and manage dashboards and ad hoc reporting and their corresponding data flows;Native social media analytics tools including Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, or YouTube Analytics to analyze social sharing metrics;Utilizing programming languages including Python, R, JavaScript, HTML, or SQL.
