City Experiences, Anchored by Hornblower, is seeking a Regional Sales Account Manager for our City Cruises operations in San Francisco.
Base pay of $31.25 hourly with a sales commission plan consisting of an additional $39,000 at the 100% pre-determined sales goal. If sales achievement surpasses the 100% goal, additional compensation may be provided according to the commission plan.

About the Opportunity:Do you share City Experiences' passion for providing amazing experiences? The successful Regional Account Manager will sell group and charter business utilizing inside and outside sales efforts to achieve the regional sales goals.
About You:This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Meet or exceed annual personal sales goal set by the RDOS and VP of Sales.Develop comprehensive knowledge of customer and market needs.Execute the sales plan using effective sales techniques.Generate leads primarily through telemarketing and networking, and may attend trade shows and industry events.Convert prospects to clients through effective telephone sales calls and closing techniques.Identify customer needs and prepare winning proposals balancing Company and customer needs.Present proposals convincingly over the phone and in person during site inspections and appointments.Upsell existing clients to higher value items.Handle objections and solve customer problems.Establish relationships with associations/business organizations and generate referrals.Ensure prompt responses to customer inquiries.Communicate complete and accurate product details to the operations team.Follow up with customers within 24 hours after the cruise to develop the account.Work with the Director of Sales to resolve customer issues.Utilize Salesforce (CRM software) to plan and manage activities in assigned markets.Use ANCHOR (reservation software) to accurately book orders.Maintain proper personal organization and manage time well.Work with Sales Assistant to collect payments and maintain accounts receivable.Additional job duties as assigned.
Requirements & Qualifications:MUST HAVE
event sales experience.Minimum of 2 years total sales experience, with at least 1 year of outbound telephone sales experience.Bachelor's degree preferred in a discipline related to the work of the position.Hospitality experience preferred but not required.Proficient with Microsoft Office products and CRM software.Analytical skills required to identify and exploit selling opportunities.Excellent oral communication skills for telephone sales.Proposal writing required; must communicate effectively in written form.Establish and maintain effective working relationships as required by job responsibility.Ability to persuade and influence people.Proven leadership skills.Effective listening skills to assess situations and identify solutions.
