Job Description
We are currently seeking a Microsoft Power BI developer to help us define problems, collect, transform and extract meaning from data, and build actionable conclusions for global cybersecurity (GCS) projects within the GCS metrics & reporting team. The position performs a wide range of activities with experts from GCS, data, business intelligence, governance, and data analysts to collaboratively solve complex cybersecurity problems.
About the GCS Metrics & Reporting Team
The GCS metrics & reporting team is an exciting and growing area of cybersecurity with unique insight into the whole spectrum of our cybersecurity activity at State Street. The metrics team of data visualization and business intelligence experts is involved in the identification and implementation of key metrics, reports, and dashboards that provide visibility, insights, and accountability, identify trends in our cyber security controls, and inform our strategy and operations with audiences ranging from daily operational teams to the Board of Directors. As a Power BI developer within the GCS metrics and reporting team, you will have a significant opportunity to making a difference on the team, within the cybersecurity organization, as well as State Street overall.
What you will be responsible for
Translating a wide array of information and building data visualizations that are accessible, easy to understand, and actionable
Assisting with reviewing user feedback, plan improvements, and build a wide range of data visualizations
Updating and improving existing data visualizations and creating new data visualizations

Requirements
A portfolio of nonconfidential dashboards that showcases your work
At least 7+ years of professional experience or equivalent of building data visualizations with Microsoft Power BI
Advanced skill level with DAX & M scripting, debugging Power BI errors, star schema, Power Query, row level security, integrating Power BI and Power Automate, loading and transforming data from databases and APIs, building custom visuals, predictive analytics
Preferred Qualifications
Microsoft Power BI certification(s) or equivalent
Advanced skill level with data visualization best practices, user interface design, accessibility, design thinking, user experience
Familiarity with python, design thinking, agile, cybersecurity metrics
Salary Range:$90,000 - $142,500 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
