The Director Human Resources is a seasoned Business Partner role that will be responsible to support Supply Chain organization. This position is responsible for working collaboratively to drive business performance by providing strategic direction, coaching and development. The successful candidate will partner with operations leadership to deliver initiatives that strengthen organizational capabilities in talent management, leadership development, organizational design, culture, engagement, change management, and employee relations. This role requires a proven ability to develop and articulate clear and compelling HR strategies in a performance driven culture. Strong organizational and influencing skills are necessary, to effectively translate these strategies into actionable initiatives that can be implemented across Canada and the US. The successful candidate will be a natural leader, contemporary thinker with high energy, who can influence, inspire and motivate others.
Responsibilities:
Partner with Supply Chain leaders to develop and implement strategies that support business goalsDevelop and maintain strong relationship with functional business leaders on driving business initiatives aligned with organizational strategyAct as an exemplary HR and business role model for the organization, lead by example with impeccable standards and high level of integrityAct as a trusted advisor to management and employees on all aspects of employee relations, conflict resolution, performance management, and disciplinary action.Develop and execute HR strategies that attract, develop and engage talent in a performance driven cultureLead in the space of organizational design, talent assessment and successionEducate leaders and build processes that ensure policy and legislative complianceBuild and nurture strong working relationships with the functional leadership through regular coaching and supportContribute to the development of tactics, processes and policies to drive functional goalsLead HR related change initiatives within the organization, ensuring that employees are engaged and supported through transition.Ensure compliance with all relevant labor laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or any other related disciplineMinimum 10+ years of progressive HR experienceWell versed in the US and Canadian employment law and complianceManufacturing experience preferred.Forward thinking with proven leadership success within a Human Resources function in a large matrix and complex organizationAbility to influence, lead change and role model positive behaviors that drive business performanceExcellent planning and organizational skills; strong qualitative and quantitative analytical skillsStrong verbal and written communication skills, particularly must be a great listener that is able to synthesize information and get to the root of an issueAuthentic, confident, positive, results oriented and highly accountableExperience in labor relations and positive employee relations.Travel is required for approximately 25% of the time.
Salary Range : $130,000 - $170,000
