Position Summary:
Love Wellness is seeking a strategic and analytical ecommerce leader with a proven track record of scaling growth on Amazon 3P. This role will be responsible for the Amazon P&L, driving annual sales and margin growth, working closely with internal cross-functional teams and external agency partners. Additionally, this individual will collaborate with company leadership on developing and optimizing a strategic and cohesive omnichannel offering. Key management functions include: strategic planning, advertising and marketing (both on Amazon and off), forecasting, analytics, business operations and team management.
Base Salary Range:
$150,000- $180,000 (The actual compensation will depend on a variety of job-related factors which may include geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level) Key Responsibilities: P&L ownership:
Lead Amazon P&L to drive strong revenue and margin growth. Channel strategy:
Clearly define Amazon’s role and offering within the overall Love Wellness omnichannel strategy to create and continually evolve a best-in-class differentiated offering within the Amazon marketplace. Business planning and execution:
Define and achieve ambitious growth targets through the design and implementation of effective advertising and marketing, promotions, site content optimization, and assortment plans. Business operations:
Manage all Amazon related business operations including inventory planning, cost optimization, CX, listing management, account health, MAP enforcement and other relevant business operations. Merchandising & Product Launches:
Plan and execute compelling product launches on Amazon by effectively managing the go-to-market launch process and coordinating cross-functionally with other relevant internal and external stakeholders. Creative Briefing:
Build effective, strategic and actionable creative briefs and partner with our Creative team in designing best in class site content and advertising. Demand forecasting:
Lead Amazon demand forecasting, developing accurate scenarios in collaboration with other internal functions. Reporting and analytics:
Develop and manage reporting and analytics that lead to actionable insights and measurable optimizations and growth. Relationship management:
Develop strong collaborative relationships with all relevant stakeholders including internal Love Wellness functions, external agency partners and Amazon partners. Competitive Analysis:
Conduct competitive analysis research for Love Wellness, staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to inform marketing strategies and maintain a competitive edge. Amazon Market Insights:
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Amazon’s latest tools, features, and international market trends to evaluate new growth opportunities and ensure effective brand positioning, driving strategic decisions that support long-term business success. Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree. 7+ years experience in Amazon, including scaling and leading the P&L for a profitable 3P Amazon business. Experience in Women’s Wellness, CPG or VMS strongly preferred. Experience working with both external Amazon ad agencies and internal Amazon teams. Experience working in an omnichannel company (DTC, Amazon/Marketplace, Retail). Exceptional analytical skills and proficiency in marketing analytics tools; highly organized, detail-oriented and structured. Ability to structure, analyze and manipulate data to extract insights. Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams. Strategic perspective with ability to quickly identify and direct impactful actions to drive both short-term and long term results without getting bogged down in inefficiencies.
