The Senior Digital Signal Processing Engineer is responsible for multistage software builds that support both an unclassified build stage, followed by a separate classified build stage, when required to produce a final artifact for the Development Security Operations (DevSecOps) of Government Owned Software (SW).
Responsibilities
Maintain and administer configuration management of the DSP software utilizing best practices for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) throughout their CI/CD environment.
Install the latest DSP software release for target program hardware environments.
Support the integration of the DSP software into target program hardware and OS environments.
Configure development environments and set up all triggers between repositories to build DSP software artifacts.
Receive, maintain, and update the existing DSP software source code management.
Create a repository for source code and configure a CI/CD pipeline for each DSP software artifact, as well as a repository for software quality assurance (QA)/test results and documentation.
Provide new capability development with new DSP Blocks.
Support the integration of the DSP software into target program hardware and OS environments classified up to TS/SCI (e.g., TLS BCT, TLS EAB, etc.).
Ensure all security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware is documented in accordance with pertinent Configuration Management Plans on a monthly basis.
Ensure all information system security-related documentation is current and accessible to authorized individuals on a monthly basis.
Notify the site ISSM/ISSO when a system no longer processes intelligence information.
Promptly notify the site ISSM/ISSO when changes occur that might affect certifications and accreditations of systems.
Ensure the site Configuration Management plan correlates to the process steps in the system development life cycle.
Maintain an Agile software development planning cadence of the DSP software.
Facilitate the software planning process for DSP software capability development, with the Government leading stakeholder engagements and prioritization.
QualificationsRequired:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or other Engineering/Technical discipline with 10 years of experience with a minimum of 3 years experience in DSP.
Familiarity with deploying software at the TS/SCI level to NSA Network (NSANet).
Familiar with NSANet approved tools for system configuration and management (e.g., SIMP, Puppet, Ansible, and CS2 Scripts).
Have experience with third-party Government-off-the-shelf (GOTS) software (e.g., Salvage and WSTL).
Possess a TS/SCI Clearance.
