What You Will Do:
Guidehouse is seeking a Process Engineer Senior Consultant with experience supporting cost estimation projects. This role will involve working closely with client stakeholders to ensure the accurate development, review, and analysis of cost estimates, particularly focusing on cost-sharing models across federal programs. The Process Engineer will support process optimization efforts and improve the effectiveness of budgetary planning and execution.
Responsibilities include the following:
Providing process engineering support to optimize federal budget and procurement processes, ensuring alignment with federal regulations and policies.
Conducting cost estimation and analysis activities, including the development of cost-sharing models to support federal programs and acquisitions.
Collaborating with client stakeholders to develop, implement, and refine budgeting and financial management strategies that support both operational and capital projects.
Advising on cost-benefit analyses for federal programs, utilizing cost estimation models to determine potential outcomes and financial impacts.
Supporting federal clients in the planning, management, and execution of acquisitions, ensuring alignment with government procurement regulations and cost-sharing agreements.
Developing process documentation, workflows, and status reports to streamline budget and procurement processes.
Analyzing and improving current federal budgeting practices to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and increase transparency in financial operations.
Facilitating stakeholder meetings and communicating complex financial information, providing technical insights and actionable recommendations.
Assisting in the development of procurement packages, including Statements of Work (SOW), Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCEs), and acquisition strategies.
Working with client personnel to ensure compliance with all applicable federal financial management regulations, including those specific to the Intelligence Community (IC).
What You Will Need:
An ACTIVE and MAINTAINED TOP SECRET Federal or DoD securityclearance
Bachelor's degree
THREE (3) years of experience supporting financial management, budget analysis, cost estimation, or acquisitions processes
Ability to work onsite at client site in Washington D.C. a minimum of three days a week
What Would Be Nice To Have:
Experience working with the Intelligence Community (IC) or national security agencies on budgetary and acquisition initiatives.
Familiarity with government financial management systems and tools (e.g., DELPHI, PRISM, FPDS).
Understanding of cost-sharing models and cost-estimation methodologies used in the federal government.
Experience supporting federal programs related to IT infrastructure or national security.
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage complex projects effectively.
Familiarity with federal cost-sharing models, cost estimation techniques, and budget development processes.
Strong knowledge of federal budgeting and acquisition regulations, including Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial data to diverse audiences, including senior leadership.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
The annual salary range for this position is $109,100.00-$163,700.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.What We Offer:
