We are currently seeking a Linux Systems Engineer to work in a collaborative and innovative environment supporting Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC). This is an amazing opportunity to directly support the global Command and Control Mission Support (C2MS) program. You will be a critical part of the Systems/Network Administration team, maintaining the C2MS networks in our Florida and New Mexico locations.Essential Functions and Job Responsibilities
Red Hat, Ubuntu, CentOS LINUX command level administrationTroubleshooting of associated hardware/software to include Dell, HP, Pivot3, VMWare, CitrixCreate, track and resolve escalated service desk action itemsMaintain the security and stability of cross domain enterprise level solutionsProvide detailed technical solutionsBuild, install, move and or break-down systems on-site or remotelyCreate detailed technical reports and metricsInteract with customers and support personnel at on/off-site data centersBe familiar with Linux audit and reporting tasksMinimum Requirements
Active Secret security clearanceHands-on experience with UNIX/LINUX in an Enterprise environmentEnterprise management experience to include LDAP, Configuration Management Tools, DNS, Repo, Backups, Log managementExperience with Ansible PlaybookTroubleshooting experience of EnterpriseNetworking experience of Enterprise to include Cisco and Palo AltoData Center experienceShell Scripting experienceCustomer service experienceResponsive Service Desk experienceExcellent communications skillsAbility to multi-taskCompany Benefits
