Entry Level Engineer
for its
Traffic Engineering Department.
Candidates who are eager to learn will perform Traffic Studies, Traffic Analyses and Traffic Engineering tasks such as Traffic Signal design following state and municipal design standards and practices.Dewberry is a leading, market-facing professional services firm with more than 60 locations and 2,500 professionals nationwide. Perform field investigationsAnalyze traffic dataPrepare traffic reportsDesign Traffic Signals and signal timings per agency standardsPrepare Traffic Signal plansUtilize the MUTCD and agency design standards to develop intersection signing & striping plansCoordinate with other disciplines during the design processRequired Skills & Required Experience
Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering.Engineer in Training (EIT) certification is preferred.Ideal candidate will have interest in traffic analysis.Familiarity with Excel spreadsheets.Familiarity with traffic design software a plus but not required.Familiarity with ITS technologies and wireless communications is a plus.Familiarity with highway projects preferred but not required.At this time, Dewberry will not sponsor a new applicant for work authorization.Dewberry is an Equal Opportunity/ Affirmative Action Employer.
