With more than 3,000 researchers in 12 labs located across six continents, IBM Research is one of the world’s largest and most influential corporate research labs.We are seeking an experienced researcher in TCAD simulation, who will be working with a world-class team on research and development of the most advanced technology nodes, continuously pushing the boundary of logic technology.You should have one or more of the following skills:CMOS device physics, advanced logic device architecture designFamiliar with process flow and device interaction for advanced nodesFamiliar with device test and characterization methodologyDeep knowledge and hands-on experience with state-of-the-art TCAD simulation, thermal modeling, mechanical simulation or molecular dynamic simulationDefine and execute DOE (Design of Experiment)Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Expect to work closely with cross-functional teams
Required Technical and Professional ExpertiseIn-depth numerical simulation experience in semiconductor device, semiconductor materials or relevant topics: 5 yearsModel development experience: 5 yearsExperience in mechanics simulation or thermal modelingStrong communication and collaboration skillsAbility to debug errors and solve issues
Preferred Technical and Professional ExpertiseDevice analysis and data mining experienceCoding skills in JMP/Python/C++/JavaProject PlanningMajor in electrical engineering, physics, or materials scienceExperience in simulation tools: COMSOL, Ansys, Sentaurus Interconnect or Sentaurus Process
