Based on experience and will be discussed with manager in interviewREQUIREMENT:
Must be a US Citizen and must pass a federal background review and drug screen.Duties/Responsibilities:Responsible for observation and reporting on assigned projects to government personnel.Oversees construction, contract administration, and quality assurance activities in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations.Analyzes design and construction issues with respect to contract requirements.Delivers recommendations regarding compliance to contract provisions and exercises engineering judgment to assist in the development of solutions between conflicting plan details or requirements which become evident as construction progresses.Make technical interpretations of drawings and specifications; provide engineering determinations on meeting the contract requirements.Review submittals, respond to contractor questions, RFIs, construction deficiencies, project issues, requests for equitable adjustment, and claims.Assist in preparing documents for change orders and claims.Reviews schedule items and pay applications to ensure balance with percentages for each corresponding work feature or component of work.Reviews contractor's submittals including QA and Safety Plans.Provides field surveillance and delivers daily detailed reports.Reviews drawings and specifications.Assists in preparation of scope of work modifications and cost estimates.Provides safety oversight.Education/Experience:Bachelor’s Degree in related field.10 years of experience on large complex multimillion dollar federal construction projects, preferably Department of Defense.Facilities experience with administrative buildings, airfield facilities and apron, barracks, water and electrical systems, and roadways.Experience with Three-Phase QC/Inspection process.Experience preferred EM 385-1-1 USACE Safety Manual.Experience with Resident Management System (RMS).Equal Opportunity Employer (U.S.) all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, national origin, disability status, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other characteristic protected by law.
