Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity.
The Product Manager - Technical role will be at the forefront of defining requirements and building systems related to payments, billing and invoicing experience for Kuiper country launches across the globe. This will include integrations into upstream and downstream systems.
This role will be the single threaded owner (STO) for large, complex, and strategic business and technology initiatives. The role will own project plans, align teams, and track progress for multiple inter-connected work streams.
Key job responsibilities
This Product Manager role is a highly visible role across the organization. You will participate in developing the international payments, billing and invoicing strategy and vision, developing product roadmaps to execute on that vision. This role is inherently cross-functional; you will work closely with engineering, payments, invoicing, billing, project management, design, operations, finance, legal, business development, customer service, content acquisition, and executive teams to launch products, develop and grow business opportunities, and enhance the Kuiper customer experience.
Driving due diligence in the country - spanning different group of customers with varying needs and having a robust view of risk and opportunities to be factored for launching the new country for Kuiper.Develop launch plans with internal and external stakeholders.Evaluate and recommend product and service enhancements that improve the payment, invoicing and billing experience for Kuiper customers.Establishing Kuiper compliant strategy and operating models in new countries or geographies.Communicating to senior/executive leadership tracking progress across various workstreams.Identify customer needs, define business requirements and launch new features which improve our overall CX and value proposition.Manage new projects end-to-end and ensure our high standards.
Export Control Requirement
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.

The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
