Lead a dynamic retail operation that makes a difference in your community! As Store Manager, you'll oversee daily operations, develop your team, and create an exceptional shopping experience while supporting The Salvation Army's mission of helping those in need.Key Responsibilities
Lead and develop store staff through training, scheduling, and performance managementDrive sales and productivity goals through effective merchandising and inventory managementEnsure exceptional customer service and create an enjoyable shopping environmentManage store maintenance, safety, and security protocolsOversee cash handling procedures and financial reportingCollaborate with central warehouse for inventory needsSupport work therapy program participants with training and supervisionMaintain store appearance and implement visual merchandising standardsRequired Qualifications
2+ years of retail management experienceStrong leadership and team development skillsExcellent customer service and communication abilitiesProficiency with POS systems and Microsoft Office SuiteValid driver's licensePhysical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyAbility to work a flexible schedule including weekendsPreferred Qualifications
Associate's degree in business administration, retail sales, or marketingExperience in thrift store or nonprofit retail operationsBackground in inventory management and loss prevention
