With a close eye on the sales pipeline, you will identify more opportunities daily, and you will inspire customers to renew their contracts with us.The role of the Data & Feeds Sales Specialist, within the high performing Data & Feeds group, will focus on commercializing the next generation of software and data solutions Broker Dealers, Asset Managers, Corporates, and other financial institutions for front, middle, and back office operations.You will be tasked with executing our strategy for long term sustainable growth of LSEG's footprint in this area through an understanding of market and competitive dynamics and will detail and drive Sales execution. The role will require the successful candidate to possess strong direction-setting and influencing skills to work with the local Account Management teams to deliver results.The Data & Feeds Proposition Elements AreRealtime Low Latency Direct Feeds, End of Day & Time Series Pricing Data (all asset classes)Pricing and Reference DataProfessional Services SolutionsAs Proposition Sales Specialist You Will Be Seen As The Specialist When It Comes To Selling Our Real Time Data Solutions And Will Be Accountable For Structuring, Negotiating And Closing Deals To Drive Growth ByProviding in-depth customer and market insights, to identify new business opportunities and drive the sales processPartnering with technical sales engineering experts, you will execute through strong collaborative relationships across matrixed functions, including Account Management, Product, Marketing, Sales Strategy, and external partnersMonitoring all aspects of key competitors, analyzing their strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats and develop strategies to achieve competitive advantageDriving our thought-leadership agenda as the internal and external spokesperson for your proposition, supporting community buildingHaving a strong eye for business and commercial strategyBeing able to influence individuals as well as groups in meetingsBeing able to work to tight deadlines in a high performance and inspiring environmentProactively identifying pipeline opportunitiesDelivering customer demonstrations on their specific propositionsWhat Are We Looking For3+ years of experience in selling Realtime Direct, low latency data-feeds and experience of selling timeseries data for quant and strategy development workflows.Outstanding solutions selling skills with a proven Track Record in a quota-bearing environmentHighly Driven and Self-Motivated Knowledge and direct experience in selling solutions to the Financial Services communityCreative problem solver and good sales ideation skillsPresentation skills (verbal & written)Strong listening skills and interpersonal skillsExpert understanding of the Financial Services and Competitor LandscapeStrong technical knowledge specifically within the financial markets trade and execution domainCompensation/Benefits Information (New York applicants only):LSEG is committed to offering competitive Compensation and Benefits. The anticipated base salary for this position is $79,800 - $148,200. Please be aware base salary ranges may vary by geographic location, city and state. In addition to our offered base salary, this role is eligible for our Variable Incentive Compensation plan. Target variable compensation will be commensurate with the posted career stage. Individual salary will be reflective of job related knowledge, skills and equivalent experience.
