This is a large modern production facility with many different positions available and opportunities to train and advance with the company.Benefits:Medical / Health Benefits with multiple plan options, Flexible Spending Accounts, Dental and Vision401kOn the job training / cross-trainingLife Insurance, disability insurance, and voluntary life insurance for family members available.Accident and critical illness insurance optional.Scheduled performance reviewsReferral programJob Description:Work on both Infrastructure and Applications solutions projects while providing endpoint support to IT users at a manufacturing facility.Responsibilities:Installation, maintenance, and general support of both hardware & software critical for day-to-day business operations, on the production floorConfigurations and implementation of Applications solutions to improve process efficiencyDocumentation of variety of IT processes and applications solutions including IT Services catalogPartner with various business departments to build and configure application solutions to improve overall process efficiencyBuild asset Inventory and catalog data, software and IT hardware in production areaCollaborate with Engineering and production team to document IT solutions and interfaces with production equipment/systemsBackup/Image all workstations on the production floor as requiredInstall and/or upgrade software solution on production workstations as neededPerform troubleshooting using basic diagnostic techniquesBuild/Install workstations, IT equipment or software applications as needed under guidance/supervision of division IT teamSupport IT team on daily operations by learning and participating in a variety of activities.Analyze and troubleshoot system issues, identify root causes, and implement remedial actions, as requiredBuild IT services catalog in order to provide better visibility and understanding of IT services to usersConsistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significanceRegular, consistent and punctual attendance is required.Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related area or equivalentCertifications: Microsoft Certified Professional and CompTIA certifications2 years of experience in an information technology role or related discipline in a support or service role, actively interacting with customers on a regular basisHands-On experience in maintenance and support of computer hardwareConfiguration and implementation of business applications, reporting & Analytics solution including Jira, Power BI etc. preferredExperience with Software development and scripting languages including SQL and Shell scriptingExperience in a manufacturing environment, preferred.Skills and Knowledge:Strong customer service orientation.Proficiency in English language, including speaking, reading, and writing.Ability to apply innovative thinking toward problem resolution.Ability to handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.Strong written and verbal communication.Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.Willingness to learn and take initiative.Self-starter with the ability to work independently, collaboratively, and in a team environmentThis position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
