AWS is looking for an exceptional Data Center Security Manager with a strong track record of supporting security programs within cleared facilities, demonstrable program/project management experience, comprehensive program security knowledge, and a deep understanding of government security programs, processes, and requirements.
As a Data Center Security Manager (DSM) at an accredited AWS site, you will own the execution of multiple security disciplines in support of fast-moving classified operations and manage a wide array of projects designed to protect personnel, National Security Information, and critical infrastructure from insider and external threats. You will also be responsible for managing onsite security forces. You must obsess over internal and external customers and successfully deliver support and services in an environment where priorities shift extremely fast. You must be able to operate independently, manage security projects, continuously triage and prioritize accordingly, communicate clearly and compellingly, THINK BIG and outside the box, and deliver exceptional products/service.

Key job responsibilities
The selected individual will be responsible for managing physical security operations, developing post orders, defining security procedures, handling site incidents, working with security equipment, participating in construction projects, driving day-to-day process improvement activities, and managing vendors.
Duties include ensuring consistent deployment of all required security policies and procedures, participating in recurring site audits and reviews, and testing new security technologies.
Must have and demonstrate resilient leadership skills, flexibility to work in a dynamic environment, exceptional knowledge of security practices, and strong written and verbal communication.
Minimum Requirements
3+ years experience managing contract security and physical security operation programs such as Access Control/Intrusion Detection and CCTV Surveillance systems.2+ years of experience with Microsoft Office tools.2+ years of experience in security patrolling and reporting.1+ years experience in security-related documentation/reporting.1+ years experience with LENEL or C-cure systems.1+ years experience with trouble ticket systems for access requests and extraction of performance metrics.2+ years experience with investigations including accidents, thefts, disturbances, discrepancies.Familiarity with security program automation and implementation.
