Position Overview:We’re seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales and Marketing Director to join our team at New Orleans School of Cooking, a leader in the New Orleans tourism attractions and events scene. This role is essential to driving revenue and growth through innovative marketing strategies, sales initiatives, and partnerships. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader with a knack for finding fresh, unconventional ways to reach new audiences, create exciting promotional campaigns, and build strategic partnerships that amplify our presence in the industry.Key Responsibilities:Develop and Implement Sales Strategies:
Design and execute sales plans that target a diverse range of audiences, including local groups, tourists, and corporate clients. Proactively seek new opportunities to drive attendance, engagement, and sales across all our attractions and events.Innovative Marketing Campaigns:
Lead the development of high-impact marketing campaigns that make use of both traditional and digital channels. Leverage creativity to craft memorable experiences and ensure our brand stands out in a competitive market.Partnership Development:
Identify and foster partnerships with complementary businesses to expand our network, reach new customer segments, and offer unique packages and experiences.Audience Research and Market Expansion:
Dive deep into customer trends, emerging travel patterns, and new demographics. Discover and reach untapped markets and propose tailored offerings that speak to their interests.Event Promotion and Community Engagement:
Act as the face of our company at events, building relationships with local organizations, tourism boards, and community influencers to increase visibility and drive visitor traffic.Performance Tracking and Reporting:
Set measurable goals, track progress, and regularly report on sales and marketing outcomes.
