The Sr. Associate is responsible for supporting functions of the Individual Philanthropy team under the direction of the Vice President, Individual Philanthropy. The position will be responsible for supporting the Individual Philanthropy team with various administrative, reporting, project and meeting coordination tasks as well as maintaining team administrative resources. Although this position will support the entire team, they will provide significant support to the mid-level and planned giving programs. This position will also have limited opportunity for direct interface with donors.About World Food Program USA

A well-qualified candidate will possess the following:Background:A bachelor’s degree or equivalent2 years of relevant experience in administrative/executive support function in a non-profit environmentExperience in a fast-paced fundraising department is a plusKnowledge and ExperienceExperience with a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, Salesforce preferredStrong computer skills and proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook and MS TeamsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with staffAbility to organize time, work independently, as well as follow directionAbility to manage confidential information and observe donor privacy protocolsAbility to anticipate needs and plan aheadDemonstrate proactive approaches to problem-solving and strong decision-making capabilitiesInterest and knowledge of humanitarian assistance, international development, or global hunger is preferablePersonal CharacteristicsCollaborative and team-orientedAccountable and takes initiativeSolution orientedOrganized and succinctTact and diplomacy and ability appreciate different perspectivesComfort connecting with donors across multiple channelsFlexible and able to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environmentAbility to remain calm under pressureStrong affinity for WFP USA’s mission and program priorities
